These terms apply to every order placed on glossandglide.com. Please read them before you order.
1. About us

2. Our products
We sell car detailing chemicals, equipment and business starter packages. Chemical listings state pH, dilution and what the product is safe on. It is your responsibility to read this information and to use products as directed, including any first aid and safety information on the label and safety data sheet.
3. Your order
When you place an order you receive an email acknowledging it. The contract between us is formed when we email to confirm dispatch, or confirm an installation booking. We may decline an order if an item is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we have concerns about the quantity of concentrated chemical ordered for the delivery destination. If we decline, we refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where it applies. If you shop in another currency, the price is converted at the rate shown at checkout. Delivery is charged by weight and shown before you pay. International orders may be subject to import duty and local taxes, which you pay on delivery. Trade pricing on drums, pallets and cases is agreed by email for approved trade accounts.
5. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates. The goods are your responsibility once delivered to the address you gave. Pallets, IBCs and machines over 100kg are a UK only service, delivered by pallet network or available for collection from Tydd Gote, as set out on our Delivery page.
6. Installed equipment
Where a listing offers an installed and commissioned option, that service is available in the UK only. We contact you to arrange a suitable date. You must provide safe and reasonable access to the installation site. Once equipment is installed and commissioned, it is excluded from change of mind returns, as set out on our Returns and refunds page.
7. Cancellations, returns and faulty goods
Your rights to cancel and return are set out on our Returns and refunds page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Chemical safety
Chemicals are supplied with a safety data sheet and CLP labelling. You must never mix chemicals, and you should wear nitrile gloves and eye protection when handling concentrates. See our Chemical safety and data sheets page.
9. Trade customers
If you buy in the course of a business, the consumer cancellation rights described in our returns policy do not apply, and our liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business or loss of use of equipment, is excluded to the extent the law allows.
10. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
